Miyoo series portable handheld game consoles, including Miyoo Mini Plus, Mini V4, A30, and flip, offer multiple color options, 128GB/256GB storage with thousands of Pre-installed games, a custom Surwish Onion OS with auto-save functionality, and come with premium accessories like metal shells and customizable buttons, making them mechdiy's most popular products
The metal shell on the Miyoo Mini V4 really does elevate the feel of the device—giving it that premium, solid-in-hand experience that's hard to beat, especially for such a compact handheld. The printed artwork adds a unique, almost collectible aesthetic that makes each unit feel more personal and special.
If the GKD Pixel 2 adopts a similar approach with anodized or painted metal shells featuring high-quality printed designs, it could really set itself apart in the retro handheld scene. That kind of finish not only improves the tactile feel but also taps into the nostalgia and style many enthusiasts look for. Let's hope they go that route!
Great little handheld, perfect for GBA and older systems. There is no analog sticks if that's important to you, and you cannot get audio out of the USB-C port period (speakers or bluetooth only). Buttons and dpad feel great, tactile enough but not super clacky. If you have a couple hundred bucks burning a hole through your wallet and want a modern day GBA micro type of experience, look no further.
