Start ShoppingI’ve had my Anbernic for a few months now and I can say I am very happy with it. It is fast and it’s relatively easy to use. The set-up was a bit of a learning curve but if you’re not a total noob, you should be able to get it to work within a blink of an eye. The only thing the Anbernic has a problem with, I feel like, are Gamecube, Wii and PS2 games. Sometimes it will lag a bit and feel a bit slow depending on how much is going on on screen. I feel like it has a bit of a problem rendering higher graphics but it’s not a huge problem. Every console older than GC, Wii and PS2, it has no problems with and will load fast and continues to play smoothly.
If you love your GC, Wii and PS2 games (like me), I advice you to upgrade to a Retroid Pocket 4 instead of getting this one though. But if you’re already content with DS games for example or GB, then this is the perfect retro handheld for you!
Simply made me smile loading up Tetris DX and Pokemon Red on this lovely device. The interface is easy to use, great battery life. Also the controller mould I purchased made the device much more comfortable to use, I recommend it. Basically it's like the dream Gameboy from your childhood, but even slightly better, if you can believe that! If you're considering collecting handhelds, buy this first and you can experiment with a myriad of different games and handhelds, even PS1 games, which run flawlessly. I am very happy with this device. It's about as perfect as you can imagine. The delivery to Europe was very fast and professional, great service!
