I’ve had my Anbernic for a few months now and I can say I am very happy with it. It is fast and it’s relatively easy to use. The set-up was a bit of a learning curve but if you’re not a total noob, you should be able to get it to work within a blink of an eye. The only thing the Anbernic has a problem with, I feel like, are Gamecube, Wii and PS2 games. Sometimes it will lag a bit and feel a bit slow depending on how much is going on on screen. I feel like it has a bit of a problem rendering higher graphics but it’s not a huge problem. Every console older than GC, Wii and PS2, it has no problems with and will load fast and continues to play smoothly.
If you love your GC, Wii and PS2 games (like me), I advice you to upgrade to a Retroid Pocket 4 instead of getting this one though. But if you’re already content with DS games for example or GB, then this is the perfect retro handheld for you!
I've been looking for a way to play my old ps2 and psp favorites and this works perfectly. It can play gba, nes, super nes, sega, 3ds, game cube, wii, ps1/2/psp, etc. Totally worth it, no issues with my screen that I've seen others mention on reddit.
Love it, use it daily even in my office.
