The Best budget Retro Handheld

If you are looking for a pocket retro that plays up to ps1 games then Miyoo mini plus is the best. Believe me I have tried like different form factors (vertical horizontal clamshell), models, brands,OS software etc. Miyoo mini V4 or Miyoo mini plus stand out..

Dpad and face buttons: super quet and feels retro
Pocketable: This is a gamechanger. It is pocketsble as it should have been for retro handhelds.
Heat : doesnt get hot that much
Casing: definitely feels well made
Battery Life : 4-6 hours
Needs Accesores: if you have big hands like me you need the grip handle
OS: nothing beats Onion OS
Surwish SD card: for me its a necessity not only the card is branded but it was setup properly by the ones who made it.

If the GKD Pixel 2 adopts a similar approach with anodized or painted metal shells featuring high-quality printed designs, it could really set itself apart in the retro handheld scene. That kind of finish not only improves the tactile feel but also taps into the nostalgia and style many enthusiasts look for. Let's hope they go that route!

Pocket Micro Classic, perfect for GBA

Great little handheld, perfect for GBA and older systems. There is no analog sticks if that's important to you, and you cannot get audio out of the USB-C port period (speakers or bluetooth only). Buttons and dpad feel great, tactile enough but not super clacky. If you have a couple hundred bucks burning a hole through your wallet and want a modern day GBA micro type of experience, look no further.
