Recently, we’ve noticed active discussions on social media regarding some games not launching on the Trimui Smart Pro S when using the CrossMix customized system.
We’d like to clarify that this is NOT a hardware issue or a product defect.
Instead, it is caused by the selected emulator core not being compatible with certain games.
The good news is that this issue can be easily resolved.
Why This Happens
The CrossMix OS on Trimui Smart Pro S includes multiple emulator cores for certain platforms.
Different games may require different cores to run properly.
If the default core is not suitable, the game may fail to launch, show a black screen, or freeze.
Solution: Switch the Emulator Core
Please follow the steps below:
1.Enter the emulator
2.In the game list, use the directional keys to navigate to the game that cannot be launched.
3.Press the X button to open the game launch core selection menu
4.You will see the following core options:
Flycast-v1.0 (Fast)
Flycast-v2.4 (RetroAchievements)
5.Choose one of the two core options at the bottom
6.Press the A button to confirm and launch the game
If the game does not run with one core, simply return and try the other.
Our developers have noticed the inconvenience of this operation and are currently working on a solution to optimize it. We will update you once the optimization is complete.
